Norman specialises in work to, and in the context of, historic buildings and has retained close contacts with mature professionals in the fields of structural engineering, and landscape design.

He has highly specialised experience in:

• Work undertaken with historic buildings including, surveys, repairs and restorations, design of extensions / alterations or new build in the historic context.

• Design of residential developments, often on small, difficult sites. The challenge posed by such sites is welcomed, as it often results in interesting small scale housing perfectly suited to its environment.

• Design of individual houses for clients, in a wide variety of architectural styles, to suite the needs of the client and the site. This includes houses in conservation, or other historic areas, where sensitive design is of the utmost importance.
